Jake Paul, Akon, Other Celebs Charged for Promoting Unregistered Digital Assets

Jake Paul, Akon, Kendra Lust and a slew of other celebrities have been accused of improperly promoting cryptocurrencies on social media. So reports Entertainment Tonight.

As such, the Securities and Exchange Commission filed fraud charges against the cadre alleging they did not disclose payments received to promote BitTorrent and Tronix, assets associated with Grenadian diplomat and crypto mogul Justin Sun. The complaint also alleges the digital assets were not properly registered.
